Dolly Parton died on Aug. 25 after a battle with cancer. The company managing her estate has now asked for body camera footage from a police call at the hospital where she passed away.

Documents reviewed by TMZ indicate that She's Alive, the entity overseeing Parton's affairs, is seeking video of an alleged confrontation between police and Bryan Seaver. Seaver is Parton's nephew and served as her head of security. The estate stated that officers responded to Vanderbilt University Medical Center on both Aug. 24 and Aug. 25.

Parton selected Seaver to announce her death to the public. Sources close to Seaver told TMZ that he was at the hospital to arrange the transfer of Parton's body to a funeral home. Those sources disputed the existence of a physical altercation. They said Seaver believes police were called to keep him away from Parton during her final hours.

The request for video is part of an ongoing legal dispute. In September, the estate accused Seaver of threatening to ruin Parton's business. Seaver has denied sending threatening messages. He also denied claims that he intended to destroy the legacy of the country music icon.

A Tennessee court granted the estate a temporary restraining order against Seaver and his private security company in September. A judge extended that order earlier this month. Seaver recently asked a Tennessee court to delay a hearing on the restraining order. He requested the delay to allow time to hire an attorney.

The body camera footage would cover the period surrounding Parton's death. The estate has not yet released the video. Seaver's legal team has not responded to requests for comment regarding the specific request for police records.
