The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a 31-year-old woman accused of a coordinated series of thefts and break-ins in southern South Carolina. Authorities have issued warrants for Keri Danielle French, who is wanted on multiple counts of first-degree burglary, grand larceny, and petit larceny.
Deputies report that French committed the crimes at two separate addresses on North Port Bass Drive. According to arrest warrants, she broke into the properties at night. In one incident, she used a power cord to draw electricity from a neighboring home without permission. At another location, she is accused of using an individual's name to secure an electricity account, a charge of identity fraud.
The warrants detail specific items taken from the residences. Investigators say French stole a water hose from one address. From a camper on the same drive, she allegedly removed a television, a scooter, a firearm, clothing, and several appliances. An investigator noted that the intrusions occurred under cover of darkness.
The sheriff's office indicates that French is frequently seen in the Port Bass area of Oconee County. Officers also advise that she may be present in the Belton, Williamston, and Pelzer sections of Anderson County. Residents are asked to contact the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office at (864) 638-4111 or Crimestoppers at 1-844-71-CRIME if they have information regarding her location.
The search remains ongoing as deputies work to locate French. The agency has not announced a timeline for her apprehension. The case involves both property damage and the unauthorized use of utility services, adding financial layers to the criminal charges.
