You Can See Everything, the documentary about Elizabeth Holmes and the collapse of Theranos, has pulled in more than $45 million at the U.S. box office since opening earlier this month. The film arrived after Holmes was convicted of fraud in 2022 and began her federal prison sentence.
Actor and comedian Chloe Fineman offered her own assessment of the movie on Oct. 29, speaking from the red carpet at the TIME100 Next Gala in New York City. "It was amazing," Fineman said. "I can't stop thinking about it." Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim directed the documentary, which follows Holmes and her partner Billy Evans, along with their two kids, during a 34-day period in 2023 before Holmes entered prison.
Fineman identified a particular scene that stayed with her. "The egg whisking, a really haunting moment, I think, for many women and men," Fineman said. "There [were] a lot of harrowing moments." She also joked that Holmes is a "kindred spirit" because neither of them blink frequently, and said she was "excited" to see what Halloween costumes emerge from the film this year.
Fineman has engaged with Holmes' story before. She posted a video in 2019 impersonating Holmes on Instagram, wearing the black turtleneck and heavy black eyeliner Holmes favored at the time, and reposted the clip to TikTok in September ahead of the film's release. Fineman also wrote the 2026 TIME100 Next profile on fashion designer Daniella Kallmeyer. The gala was presented by Rolex, Toyota, American Airlines, Danantara, Project Management Institute, and Target.
